Who this is
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the GymBunny iOS app (including its Apple Watch companion and widget) and getgymbunny.com (together, the "Service"), provided by an independent developer ("we", "us"). Questions? See Contact below. For how we handle your data, see the Privacy Policy.
Acceptance & eligibility
By downloading, installing, or using GymBunny, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service. You must be at least 16 years old to use GymBunny. If you're using the app on behalf of a minor under your care, you're responsible for their use of it.
The service
GymBunny is a free workout-tracking app: log exercises, sets, reps, and weights; follow or build training programs; track body measurements and progress over time. You can use it as a guest, in which case everything stays local to your device, or you can sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In to turn on optional cloud sync across your devices.
GymBunny does not currently offer any paid subscriptions or in-app purchases — the entire app is free to use.
Changes to the service
We may add, change, or remove features over time, including features that may be offered as paid options in the future. If we ever introduce paid features, we'll update these Terms to describe them (pricing, billing, and cancellation) before they apply to you.
Your account
If you sign in, you're responsible for keeping your device and account access secure. We never see or store your Apple/Google sign-in credentials — authentication is handled entirely by Apple or Google.
We may suspend an account that we determine, in good faith, is abusing the Service (for example, attempting to compromise other users' data or the backend). We'll aim to be proportionate about this and it's not something we do lightly.
Your content & conduct
You may create custom exercises, programs, and notes within the app. You're responsible for what you create, and you agree not to use GymBunny to store or share anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights. Custom content you create is only visible to you — GymBunny doesn't currently have social or sharing features.
Health & safety
GymBunny is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Workout suggestions, tracking, and any figures the app shows (like calorie estimates) are for general fitness and informational purposes only. Talk to a physician or qualified health professional before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from an injury. You use GymBunny and perform any exercise at your own risk.
Your data
Our Privacy Policy is the governing document for how GymBunny collects, stores, and protects your data — please read it. In short: your workout data belongs to you, you can export a complete copy as a JSON file anytime from Settings → Privacy & security, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data from that same screen, immediately.
Intellectual property
The GymBunny app, its design, branding, and built-in exercise/program catalog are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We don't claim ownership of the workout data, custom exercises, or programs you create — your data is yours. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app or its catalog content outside of normal use of the Service.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any injury sustained while exercising. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory consumer rights you have that cannot be excluded under the law of your country of residence (including EU consumer-protection law).
Termination
You can stop using GymBunny anytime, and you can permanently delete your account and data from the app whenever you like — see Your data above. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms, as described under Your account.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you additional rights.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Continuing to use GymBunny after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
